How Long Does It Take to Recover From Prostate Surgery?
Recovery from prostate surgery depends on the individual patient. Patients who have the traditional, open prostatectomy usually stay in the hospital for 3-4 days following the operation. Patients who have robotic prostatectomy usually go home within 24 hours and return to normal activity within two weeks.
